Ice plug in the river
Today’s news in Karlstad is that the ice in the river Klarälven has caused an ice plug in the river by ice flakes pushed in a vertical position. Up stream the water level rises and reminds us of the flooding in for example 2000/2001. The public works has tried to take the ice stopper away by the help of excavators but perhaps they will have to try and blow it up with explosives.
